Terms & Conditions

The legally binding agreement between you and the Tasklyst network for use of TaskLyst Business on web and mobile.

Last updated: 3 May 2026

These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Tasklyst platform and services. By creating a professional account or using our business tools, you agree to be bound by these Terms as an independent contractor.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By registering as a Professional ("Pro", "you") on the Tasklyst Business platform, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Tasklyst Pro Terms & Conditions, as well as our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy.

2. Business Accounts & Verification

2.1 Verification & Vetting

You must provide accurate, verifiable business information including your legal name, business address, and relevant certifications or licenses required for your industry. Tasklyst reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that fail our verification checks.

2.2 Independent Contractor Status

You acknowledge that you are an independent contractor, not an employee, partner, or agent of Tasklyst. You are solely responsible for determining your prices, managing your schedule, performing the work, and complying with all local tax and labor laws in England & Wales.

3. Platform Fees & Subscriptions

Tasklyst operates on a transparent SaaS and marketplace model for Professionals:

  • Subscription: Access to the Pro Dashboard, CRM, and calendar tools may require a flat monthly subscription fee as displayed during registration.
  • Commissions: Tasklyst does not charge hidden commissions per booking unless explicitly agreed upon in a custom lead-generation package.
  • Payment Processing: Transactions processed through the platform are subject to standard payment gateway fees (e.g., Stripe processing fees) which are deducted prior to payout.

4. Client Interactions

As a Professional, you agree to maintain a high standard of professionalism, honor your cancellation policies, and process all initial transaction volume through the Tasklyst platform to maintain your account standing.

5. Liability & Insurance

You are solely responsible for maintaining adequate liability insurance. Tasklyst assumes no liability for property damage or personal injury arising from the work performed by you. You agree to indemnify Tasklyst from any third-party claims.
